Once the payment is processed, we initiate the work on the project. We proceed with the following:

Kick-off / Intake (What we need from you)

-Please provide us with a brief description of your client’s requirement and client expectations

-It will be great if you can share the sitemap ( for 10 pages )

-Logo files and any Brand guidelines

-Content ( If you do not have content we can write content for additional cost)

-Reference sites

-Also, we would request you please narrow down and select a theme/template within Shopify

-You will have signup for a Shopify plan with version 7.1 and Share the login to Shopify dashboard


Design & Development

-We will begin with creating the homepage at this stage ( It takes upto 4 business days to complete the homepage

-And than move into creating the inner pages ( If we have all the information required the pages will be developed in 2 weeks approx)


Testing

-Before Live testing - The website will be tested once before we publish it live (it can take upto 4 business days for before live testing)

-After Live testing Once the website is published live we will providing - We test the site again and handoff the site


To complete the work outlined in the project scope, we'll need approximately 2-3 weeks from beginning to end, depending on when we receive feedback/content at each milestone.


Any delays at client’s end, may delay the project and proposed timeframes


Notes:

-The website is based on a template you select on Shopify

-Customization to the templates has its own limitations, so the template can be modified only if its possible

-We will use up to 8 stock images from 123rf.com. For additional stock images charges will be $10 per image

-The price at the beginning of this contract is based on your requirements. If you want to add anything new, that won’t be a problem as we’ll provide a separate estimate & timeframe to cover the additional work.

-This quote does not include the content writing. If you want us to write the content then it will cost you $31 per page (up to 250 words)

-For additional pages, charges will be $20 per page

-For additional contact form charges will be $25 each

-You must supply all materials and information required by us to complete the work in accordance with any agreed specification. Such materials may include but are not limited to, photographs, written copy as per the sitemap, logos. Where there is any delay in supplying these materials to us which leads to a delay in the completion of work.

-You will have to provide us the login to the Shopify dashboard with admin access

-You will have to purchase any required apps / addons

    We use the WordPress CMS to build websites for our clients. If required, we also integrate premium WordPress themes. Our themes are built with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP. If you want, we can also use Premium Page Builders like DIVI which allow our clients to easily build pages, with unlimited layouts, through a drag and drop user interface, without the need for coding knowledge.

  • How does the development process work?

    There are 6 steps in our development process:


    Planning: If the project is a rebuild, we review your current content and make further recommendations for improvement. If it’s a new site, we start gathering information by discussing the subjects and functionality you conceptualize for your site and develop an outline for you.


    Mockup Design: We create a homepage concept including colors, fonts, image style, and layout.


    Design Revision: After reviewing the initial design, you have the opportunity to request changes.


    Development: Once we’ve received your approval on the design, we move on to development.


    Testing: We run a final set of tests to be sure that everything is functional.


    Launch: Once we have your final approval, we launch the site. This marks the end of the project.

  • Do you provide web hosting?

    The website design packages do not include hosting. They only cover website building and site launch, as well as 30 days of support after the final launch. However, you can opt for hosting at an additional cost of just [$$$]/month. If you have our advanced membership you can sell your client hosting via your HostGurus reseller account.

  • How should I supply the content for my website?

    It is helpful to us if you are able to provide text and photos prior to the designing of the home page mockup.

  • Do I need to have all my content prepared prior to contacting you?

    No. We can get started by using placeholder content while you work towards completing your content.

  • What if I need HELP? Do you offer support?

    Yes, Yes, we offer email support via email. Response time during business hours is usually 24 hours or less. This can take longer if it's outside of business hours.

  • Are there hidden costs associated with web design services?

    No. We discuss with you your website requirements and then price accordingly. If the need to alter the price quote arises, we will communicate this to you before any extra work is started. If changes and/or additions are requested by a client, additional costs will be agreed to.
